Treatments

Everything, with the boring parts left in.

Downtime as a number of days rather than the word “minimal.” How long it lasts before you are back. What it costs in this building. Decide at home.

01 · Injectables

Neurotoxin and filler.

Both are prescription medicines and both are temporary. A physician is on site for all of these, and the consultation happens before anything is drawn up.

  • Neurotoxin — forehead, glabella, crow’s feet

A few minutes of injections into specific muscles so they move less. It does not fill anything; it stops the movement that folds the skin.

It takes several days to appear and about two weeks to settle, so the appointment to book is at least three weeks before anything you care about.

    Appointment15–25 min
    DowntimeNone to a day
    Typically lasts3–4 months
    Price$13 per unit
  • Hyaluronic acid filler

A gel placed under the skin to restore volume or shape. Reversible, which is a genuine safety feature and one of the reasons we use nothing else.

Bruising is common and normal. Anybody who tells you filler never bruises is selling. Plan two weeks before an event, not two days.

    Appointment30–60 min
    Downtime2–10 days of possible bruising
    Typically lasts6–18 months by area
    Price$650–$850 per syringe
02 · Skin

Resurfacing, peels and microneedling.

These are courses rather than appointments. One of anything will do very little, and a practice that sells you one and implies otherwise is not being straight with you.

  • Microneedling, with or without radiofrequency

Controlled micro-injury to prompt the skin to remodel. Numbing cream first, and the face is genuinely red afterwards.

Usually three to four sessions a month apart before it is fair to judge.

    Appointment60–75 min with numbing
    Downtime1–3 days of redness
    Course3–4 sessions
    Price$350 · $950 for three
  • Chemical peel — light to medium

A solution applied for a set time to take off the surface in a controlled way. Light peels flake a little; medium peels peel properly and you will want a quiet week.

We will not do a medium peel on a first visit or in the two weeks before a wedding.

    Appointment30–45 min
    Downtime2 days light · 5–7 days medium
    Course1 to 6, depending
    Price$180–$450
  • Laser and light

Different devices for different problems — redness, pigment, texture. Which one matters more than the brand name on the machine, and the consultation is largely about working out whether any of them is right for your skin type.

Sun exposure before and after genuinely matters here, so summer bookings get a conversation about it.

    Appointment20–50 min
    Downtime1–7 days by device
    CourseUsually 2–4
    Price$275–$700 per session
Before any of it

Your skin gets looked at through a lens first.

A dermatoscope is a lit magnifier. It is thirty seconds, it costs nothing, and it is the difference between treating a pigment patch and referring a mole that should not be treated at all.

Anywhere that goes straight from a price list to a needle without looking at your skin properly is selling, not treating.

Not on the list

Four things we will turn down.

All four are available somewhere in this county. They are here because being told no with a reason is worth more than being told yes and finding out afterwards.

  • Treating on the first visit, as a rule

If you came in for a specific thing you have had before and we agree, fine. Otherwise you go home with a plan. Nothing here is urgent.

  • Packages bought up front

Prepaying for six of something you have not had once is a financing arrangement, not a treatment plan.

  • Filler to fix something filler will not fix

Some of what people bring in is skin quality, some is bone, and some is weight. Filler is the answer to a narrow set of those and adding more when it is not working is how faces end up looking done.

  • Anything at all for somebody who seems to be here for the wrong reason

Rare, and handled quietly and kindly, but it happens and it matters.

What these numbers are and are not

The times and durations on this page are typical ranges for healthy adults, published so you can plan. They are not a promise about you, and nothing on this website is medical advice.

What any of it will do for your face is a conversation with a clinician who has looked at it, which is what the consultation is for and why it is free.
